In high school one of my worst fears was showing up to prom in the same dress as someone else. So, that means I begged and bartered with my mom (okay, she was pretty easy to convince) to take me shopping somewhere out of town in hopes that I could find something unique. Online shopping wasn't a big thing back in the day (I just totally dated myself). Plus a prom dress is something you kind of need to try on a million of before saying yes to the dress, oh wait, that's a wedding dress. You get my point. What I wouldn't have given to be able to shop at a boutique that carried a limited amount of sizing in each dress so all my unique prom dress dreams could come true! A unique, locally owned, one of a kind boutique like Cavelle Kids. I know, I know, our five years olds aren't really concerned about showing up at a birthday party in the same dress as their friend, in fact, they embrace it, twinsies! Cavelle Kids carries one of a kind, quality crafted, darling pieces for both kids and their mamas! It is locally owned by Jessica Elrod, who is equally as talented as she is thoughtful and kind. Her heart and soul goes into each one of her designs, from picking out the fabric to cutting each piece herself. The amount of time, commitment and labor she spends making sure her visions come to life and stay alive is highly impressive. No detail goes untouched, no button placement overlooked, no color scheme not well thought out. Can we talk about quality? Nothing gets to me more than the one wash and it's ruined garment. I love taking something out of the washing machine and thinking, I swear that was red, not pink when I put it in, and I thought it had little gold dots, where did those go? Nothing I love more, really, nothing (insert sarcasm). I have washed all my pieces a million and one times (slight exaggeration, but a lot), and they come out with all buttons in place, the color as rich as before, and no loose strings hanging out of places I didn't even know needed a thread. Imagine, a dress that your daughter (or you) will get a whole year out of (more if they grow slow). So adorable and unique, made with quality and passion, darling details and feminine cuts that make us all want to twirl, sounds too good to be true. But it's even better. The customer service is personalized, hands-on and noteworthy. Jessica's heart is as big as her passion for design, actually bigger. To know her is to love her. She will make you feel like a million bucks, the minute you walk through her door you will feel like you have known her for years. Rather you need a new outfit for your child, for yourself, or to just enjoy a Starbucks and chat, she will deliver. Her heart is pure gold friends, kind to her very core and all that love and passion is placed upon each one of her products, she is one talented soul. I promise you, once you visit the store you will leave with a bag or two of goods, and a new friend (and that is not lost on her, ALL her employees are amazing). Not local, got you covered, I will link her website below and you can shop right from the comfort of your own home. Enjoy the pictures of my darlins', items linked below!
